Jessica Schafer
Voice
Jess has studied voice for over 13 years. She graduated from Mansfield University in May of 2013 with a Bachelor's of Music in Music Education. While at Mansfield she was a member of the Mansfield University Concert Choir, a gold medal winning choir at the 2008 World Choir Games held in Europe.
Trained classically throughout college, Jess' true love is musical theater. She has been a member of Zion Opera Workshop for the past 8 years, a community theater located in Lehighton, PA where she also serves as the stage director. Some of her performances with them include "Oklahomea" as Laurey, "South Pacific" as Nellie and "Music Man" as Marian. She also enjoys working with PTPA in Hazleton where she has had the lead in several shows.
Whatever the style, she hopes to share with her students a passion for music and partner with them to help in accomplishing their specific musical goals. She looks forward to working with you.
